Decorated Eggs - Help!

Not sure if this is the right place but...

Two of my lads have got to decorate an egg for school on Friday.

Last time they did this it was a disaster, so I could really do with some inspiration.

Anybody got any ideas please?

We did this for school last week.
How about making it look like an animal - eg mouse, rabbit, bumblebee, ladybird, Nemo, chicken? Use paint at first and then felt tips for faces etc, cut up card for legs/ears/whatever.
Alternatively just try a "gorgeous" look with sequins and stickers. I think a lookalike captures the imagination more tho.

colour one colour then slodge with sponges in two other colours on top to make dinosaur eggs

Get pissed out of your face and then drink them both raw on the way to school so you don't stink of alcohol.

We made a load last week.
Simplest are the best.
Dye them then add embellishments with felt tips.

Coat one side in glue then roll in glitter, let it dry, then coat other side and roll in a different colour glitter. Finish with a ribbon round the join.

If feeling adventourous, use a blown egg not boiled, gently push pin in front of egg and carefully break round about until you have a hole large enough to sit toy chick inside, faberage styley. decorate outside carefully as egg wil now be very weak. Might help to paint lots of layers of paint and / or PVA glue to strengthen egg.

Some great ideas, thanks.

Lol, fairyfly, think I'd rather stink of alcohol tho.
