best fabric glue?

i cant for the life of me get heatnbond to work
so whats the best fabric glue, i need to stick felt to cotton canvas.
and i need good glue suggestions for sticking buttons,bows ,gemstones ect to wood .

I hope somebody answers - I want to know too! I also want to know what qualifies as a silicone-based clear adhesive.

i use guttermann creativ it's pretty strong stuff and works well on fabric

That's the one I use . Great stuff .

I use Hobbycraft's fabric glue - works well for me.

I do a lot of applique and glueing (!)
I use Anita's Tacky Glue and find Bostick 'Glu & Fix' works well on some of the more robust fabrics.
I also use Fusa A Web for iron on stickability
