what brand/colour paint?

hi all
ive ordered some wooden gingerbread man shapes ,i need to paint them cookie /ginger colour, is anyone able to recommend a brand/paint colour ,i dont want to spend a fortune ordering different colours.

It would probably help if you say what the finished giger bread men will be used for - that will affect the sort of paint you need

christmas decorations/ personalised tags
they cant be too dark as i need to write on them.

In that case I'd suggest looking at the match pot, tester paints in your local DIY store - you'll have lots of colour choice & they are cheap & will be durable enough, probably something a light terracotta will do it

& if you use a silver or gold gel pen to do the writing, it won't matter if its dark - besides, it will look good & xmassy
