Where is the cheapest place to get replacement ink cartridges for this? We just got it a couple of weeks ago and already its run out of ink. I'm in the middle of printing out invites to my sons party (did 5 before the low ink message came up). trhe results are fantastic but it says the only place to get dell cartridges is from Dell where the high capacity ones are £28 and take 3-5 days to ddeliver. I need the invites to go out before Friday (school hols!) Help ma there must be somewhere cheaper and/or quicker!! What do you reckon?

I think Pixiefish is your gal. I buy mine from Cartridge world 4.99 each

hi ucm - i have same printer . do you get yours online - sounds much nicer price than £28 thanks

Pixie knows where to get cheap cartridges, I have an epsom all in one. The cartridges are normally 12.99 each but cartridge world does them at 4.99. I have a shop near me. I can find out how much they will be if you would like.

UCM · 29/03/2006 03:23

I have checked with cartridge world online, they don't do dell.

Pixiefish · 29/03/2006 08:08

Sorry we don't do dell either. Do do Epsom though

I saw the remanufactured ones and refilled ones but as it's a brand new printer I'm a bit nervous in case I mees it up. i'm dead chuffed with my invites though (superhero theme) the quality is fab! I guess I just have to curtail my us eof gorgeous colour! thanks for all your help though!. it does say that they are only available from Dell but I don't have 3-5 days!!!!

I was very very nervous about using non epson ones in mine too. I paid a fortune for nearly a year and gave in.....they are fine and my printer works well with them. I DO know what you mean though.

Well the good news is they go on for a LONG time afterwards but will keep telling you that your printer is running below minimum ink levels! I got all the ones I need to deliver to school done so the major panic is over. I only have 4 more to do , cousins , neighbours etc and they can wait until I suss out the ink situation. His birthday is on Easter Sunday so because I have these two weeks of holidays I panicked!

Oooo I had this recently with one of my cartridges and it kept telling me to change it. Unfortunately I didn't have a new cartridge to hand so decided to let it run out completely. I printed a further 70 inserts for wedding invitations. So next time I see this, I will definitely not change my cartridge straight away as it's obviously a ruse to make us buy more cartridges.

Sprint-ink.co.uk sell compatible and original printer ink for the Dell All In One 924 printer. You can see them here www.sprint-ink.co.uk/dell-ink-cartridges/dell-inkjet-series/all-in-one-924
