Not strictly "Arts & Crafts" but need creative ideas!!

Hi there
I don't know if anyone can help me but my 8 year old dd has been told by school that she has to produce a hat or outfit which represents her vision of "THE FUTURE" - by next Wednesday! AAAAHH! This is not my strong point (or hers) and she has absolutely no ideas and the poor darling is getting very stressed - as is mummy!
If anyone has any simple ideas - anything considered - it would be gratefully appreciated!!

He he he...you could do some form of weird sort of global warming hat! A sun shield for the eyes and bits to protect the neck and ears. it could be made by adapting something like a baseball cap.

First, try to get her to work out what she thinks the future will be like. Maybe what we'll be travelling around in or living in. Go from there.

I like the global warming hat - just wonder whether she'll understand the significance or not!! A melting polar ice "cap" perhaps??
