How to use Snaps?

I got two set sof these as my free gift when subscribing to a magazine. I am guessing they are like using eyelets, but do I use the setter in same way or is it different?

exactly the same hula
punch hole in card/paper
put snap in hole and hammer on reverse like with an eyelet.

That's okay then. That's what I did on the card I made, but the backs of them didn't seem to seal it in to the card as much as the eyelets do. Phew!!!

or relocate to the sunroom on the bottom floor just to set the snaps

Oooh, too cold down there at the moment!!! If we heat that room then upstairs is too hot!
