thanks for the zoo tickets, we had a fab day, weather was perfect!
The lion roared so much DD1 was ready to run for the hills!

yes, went today with Pixiefish and tillykins.
The giraffes are my fave.
Went in the new elephant house, bit pongy!

You have to watch the lion when it roars! We were stood there watching it make the most enormous roars one day. Then it came to the fence, turned round and squirted wee about 10 foot through the fence. Luckily we managed to jump out of the way

phew glad we missed that then!
It was weird, he was roaring so loud, everyone came to see. Don't think anyone could quite believe one lion was making such a racket!
Then he just flopped down on the grass and went to sleep!
