A Different Sort of Easter Challenge

Alright all you crafty people. I need help.

I'm in London, and on 29 March dd is supposed to pitch up at school wearing an Easter Bonnet for the school parade. I started a thread a few days ago asking for ideas, and got a few responses. Also checked the other threads that had been started by mums faced with the same task. The more I read, the more I started to panic, as the "easy" ideas shared are far beyond my experience/capability. Blush

I know in a perfect world, dd and I would work on this together - choosing materials, etc. But, I am so uncrafty it's not true. And because I'm so uncrafty (and pushed for time as we're leaving on an extended trip in 12 days), it will get pushed into a last minute disaster if left to my own devices.

It's occured to me that some of you may be able to help. I will gladly pay for materials, postage and a fee for labour. DD is just 5, and has a large head - her school hat is a size 6 7/8. Would ideally need completed bonnet in London by Monday, 27 March to be safe. Please let me know if any of you are interested/available to rise to the challenge.

Thanks so much. You'll be saving dd from eternal shame, and me from "bad mummy" guilt! Grin
