that it can look quite good using ink pads on the base card as a backing?! HUH???? I blame you lot!!

Done one card with a dark pink and a light pink over the top, and now doing a purple card with dark purple and a lilac over the top - its looks pretty good!

(Doing mum cards for mothers day - boot sale on monday so thought people might like a bargain!)

Look Jarm, your cards are great, I have seen them as have others on here. You will be surprised at your Boot sale, I done a sale with what I thought were fantastic cards and didn't sell alot, not to be put off I done another one. It went very well with the same cards. Please don't be put off. Ask Whizzz she did a sale too around about the same time and her first one wasn't great but I believe she did very well at the next. There isn't a good/right time. People will either buy or not buy. You just have to keep selling...... GOOD LUCK

Yes - I was going to mention my first craft fair (last autumn) but didn't want to put you off
Stall cost me £15 - got there & half way through the morning the power went off. It was freezing cold & very gloomy. The few 'Customers' that came in were biddies with blue rinses - picked things up & said 'oo very nice' & then walked off without buying. I sold 3 cards.

Next one was the school Xmas fayre & I made £80 !
I guess because the people that came were the same age group as me & therefore liked the sort of stuff I'd made.

It's just luck if the people that turn up, like yur stuff. So even if you don't sell much - it doesn't mean they are no good - you just need to try another outlet

im not expecting too much out of the first one - i mainly want rid of the shed load of baby stuff to be honest so taking the cards as a sidekick.... fingers crossed a few of them will go!
