Knitting - Bugger. I have been using the wrong size needle

But not for the whole blanket! I should have been using 8s and currently have one 7 and one 8. No idea when I picked up the wrong needle and can't see on the blanket. WHat shall I do? Unpick what I have done over the past couple of sessions? Or leave it?

Nah, I wouldn't rip it back for that, it will hardly be noticeable. I would just carry on with the needle you should have been using.

Unless it will eat at you really badly and it's a dead precious extra special blanket.

It isn't a dead special one but I have a terrible feeling I might have to rip it down a very lot.

I wouldn't bother either. Doubt if it will be obvious.

i wouldn't imagine it'll be obvious - if it had done anything to the tension, you would have noticed.
besides, it'll only be 7 every other row, which means the 8 will even it out.

I'd definitely leave it - for a blanket the gauge isn't so important (I have a friend who made a similar mistake on a cable jumper, so the cables didn't line up properly on the back and the front .. erk). Just crash on!

Thanks - threw caution to the winds as advised and am about to cast off!!
