i am attempting embossing tonight.....

any tips? i have pigment ink, embossing powder, heat tool and stamps.

Yes, don't worry it's easy! Keep the heat tool moving and be fairly quick tipping the powder on (some inks dry quicker than others).

A brush (I use a make up brush) can be handy to wipe off excess powder, but you can do away with that by wiping the card with a piece of muslin / pair of old tights with talcum in before starting.

misdee...old scented tumble dryer sheets are excellent for removing static from the cardstock first.
Just wipe over the are you want to emboss with it first.
Talc works just as well too though as PC has said.
