just a thought. ignore meif iam completely out of line here..
i know you have bought a lot of crafty stuff recently. are you getting the use out of it?

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 04/03/2006 16:31

oh god yes..... using it EVERY night, have made in the region of 110 cards now..... planning to get to 150 and then off to the local car boot to flog them!

Its not so much the selling of them, its the actual doing them. I really enjoy it and find it so relaxing!

most of what i have bought has been card/paper and ribbon..... other than the sizzix which i LOVE to bits.

A light box will come in handy if you like dry embossing. I have one and it gets a fair amount of use. £3.50...you can't go wrong really!

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 04/03/2006 16:38

i dont know what dry embossing is...... Blush

You switch the light box on, put a stencil on top, add some paper/light card on top of theat, and use a ball pen thingy to make raised pictures or letters on the card. It's quite subtle and pretty really. I don't use mine all the time, but lettering is nice through coloured vellum.

oooooh..... like the sound of that..... right, sod it, gonna get it!

Get some thin card too...thick card doesn't let the light through. The range do some funky stencils for not much money.

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 04/03/2006 16:44

oh god... not THAT place again..... i spend FAR too much money in there!
