It is snowing and I have no money. I want to make dd a cosytoes from some fleece I have lying around.

Anyone know of any online patterns?

If you got two sets already that's it Filyjonk; there are 7 parts to it. Hope my plan was clear - made sense to email instruction sheet, but not pattern itself, as pattern pieces are very large and wouldn't fit on scanner. Hence my asking what your engineering skills were like! You will get the pattern shapes from the layout diagrams. Honestly, for something like this it ought to be possible - I wouldn't suggest it for a fitted garment or something like that but if you have a good sense of proportion/scale then the shapes of the pieces and their size in relation to each other will make sense.

And your DH sounds like the perfect person to have around for this project...

Oh, thank god for that! It looked like everything was there and I was trying to puzzle out what else was needed!

Right, have baby to put to bed + then will start work. Am excited to a truly sad degree. Its reminding me of Suduku.

(Also, its that or an OU assignment!)

Great great great. You have got me excited too: bought zips etc. today. (Am making model B in faded maroon or pink depending on how you look at it. with peacock-eye spots in navy and maroon with marigold yellow outlines.) (yes I am rather excited now).

Sewing is SO useful.

Sounds lovely.

I'm going to try making the first with bits and pieces from round the house, then I might make a nicer second one with whatever I can scour from charity shops. I'm thinking maybe big floral curtain type stuff.

Getting all ambitious now.
