Scrapbook journaling/phrases - grandparents

Hulababy · 27/02/2006 10:49

I am currently doing a double layout for DD's scrapbook. I have one page for her two grandads and another matching page for her two nanas.

I need to find some relevant wording to go on the pages though. The photos are of her grandparents holding here when she is very litle - under 1 week old.

Anyone got any examples or know where I can get hold of something relevant - rub ons, etc. maybe?

TIA.

Can't you print out phrases that are meaningful to you using your PC?

Unfortunately printer is not working at moment. I think I am going to have to get a new one. I can, if necessary, try printing a work though. Just need to find something nice to print though - brain has gone dead as to what!

Canny Crafts and Cotswod keepsakes have one or two things, not masses though- you may have spotted a gap in the market. Some of the Amerian Sites might be a better bet, or this one \link{http://www.memorybugs.com.au/Rub-Ons-c-301-p-2.html\ here} is Australian but has Grandparents rub ons.

The other option is a poem or wuote added to ypur layout, I have 3 resources I use:

I bought some grandparent rub ons at the weekend from my local craft shop and a gorgeous little label like the kind you get on your clothes. Rub ons and label are by both by junkitz in shades of brown and cream. The label is brown and says:

Grandparent
one size fits all
50% love
40% indulgence
10% wisdom
Hand wash warm.
Really beautiful

That sounds ideal - I will have a hunt, or make my own using something similar :)
