Canny Crafts. Haven't complained, bit embarassed.

It's a sidekick, was cutting a daisy on gltter card and one of the rollers stopped, oyther didn't so plates slipped and then jammed. Even Dh can't release it!.

pah.

oh this happened to me...sidekick jammed with a christams tree inside. took it back to Hobbycraft and they exchanged it no problem.

theres a screw somewhere that you can undo to release it.....read it on another forum....will see if I can find a link.

This happened to me too it sounded as if a screw had pinged off and then it just wouldn't move. I took mine back and she said she'd seen it before. Are Canny crafts not out of business now? I tried to look on their site on Wed. after someone here recommended them but it said they had ceased trading.

I've just ordered from canny crafts last night so they're still in business. Agree that you should take it back although sizzix might try to get out of it by saying it's only designed to cut paper

Its an old design fault with them and it happens alot.
I cant for the life of me find the link which explains how to free off the sidekick....neighbour had to do it to hers....shes not in atm, but when she gets back I'll ask her what she did.

Thanks JM I was a bit of a muppet! I'm so used to clicking on favourites so when I tried to open the website from school I must've checked the old one!
