Ideas for making cards with a 19mo

Can any of you lovely people offer any ideas for making cards with younger children or point me in the direction of a website that might be able to help?

Want to make a birthday card for DH with DS, and want to do something a bit more creative than the usual scribbling with a crayon!
Thanks.

Printing,

Hand printing is easy & effective or finger prints built up to make pictures, you know the sort of thing - 2 thumb prints on top of each other, with a bit of added drawing for ears, tail & paws & some glue on eyes makes a Cat

Potato printing - you cut spuds in half & cut a relief of a shape into it, your DS uses them to print onto the card, choose your shapes well & he can even make a picture

Marbling - shallow tray full of gelatine, let your DS dribble paints on top, then show him & let your DS drag sticks, fork etc through the colours to make patters - lay card on top so that it picks up the paint

Blow pens - you buy these in sets quite cheaply, you can make similar with a straw & paint, but probably not best idea at 19mth :) - lay a few objects onto your card, blow the paint pens over it as per instructions, lift object off to show silhouette of it - layer up with different shapes to make pictures or patterns

hope that lots helps :)
