I am new to all this crafty stuff ... and I am trying to cut out bits of photos ( ie a group of people )... I am using a craft knife - BUT the end result always looks "angular" - in other words, lots of little straight lines IYKWIM.

It looks like a 5 year old has done it ....

How do I make the cut out look more "rounded" and professional ?? can use the templates ... but in this instance I want to cut "freestyle"

very small, slightly curved, nail scissors are good

If you're not doing it already - cut out by keeping the scissors as still as possible in one hand and manoeuvre the paper or photo around the scissors which should create a smoother cut. I havn't explained it very well but I hope you know what I mean!!
