I'm feeling chuffed that I've finished a red knitted jacket for dd1, 6. She's very pleased with it and I'm a better starter (and stasher!) than finisher so have a real satisfied feeling. What have you completed recently?

Some pyjamas and a skirt for Barbie! Actually come to think about it the pyjamas still need a popper, but she's wearing them anyway.

Well done on the jacket, must have been a lot of work!

Nothing Sad i'm a starter, stasher , procrastinator lazy mare. Have made lots of progress with baby blanket but now i've got my spinning wheel out and the knitting is stuffed in a corner.

I have just this minute finished my first crochet handbag. It is in a lovely green marble wool and I love it. I think I love it even more as it tis the first project for me that I have finished in a long time Blush normally I'm making things for the kids but I have started and finished this in under two weeks and I'm very happy :)

now do I carry on with one of the million other half finished projects or do I start a new one?

Another serial start-but-don't-finish-er here but at the moment I'm trying to get loads of half done crafts over the finishline - first off a big floor cushion for the DCs which I finished a couple of weeks ago - pic on my profile! Feels great to finally have it done! Great idea for a thread.
Next on my list is a dress for my goddaughter's sister which I had originally inteneded as a Christmas present... Blush

Hooray Grin well done all! I must admit dd's jacket is in chunky, is prob a size too small (she doesn't agree) and I have just come back from hols-all of which either minimised the work or gave me more time Wink. Doing squares for the latest mumsnet blanket kickstarted me - they each felt like mini project in their own right and had an importance and a deadline.

I've done a few owls (pics are on my blog) but they were very quick to make.

I have loads on the go, including a crocheted blanket, crocheted cushion cover, bargello quilt, hexagon quilt, a couple of finished quilt tops that needs quilting, a couple of panels that need quilting, a knitted shawl...

It would take me ages to knit a jacket, my knitting is terribly slow!

Molehillmountain · 21/04/2012 20:48

But you make blankets, crafty-they're really big Smile
