Floral tulle?

Can anyone help me please? I think this is the right place to post this... I know next to nothing about fabrics so am scrabbling around on ebay and some of the websites mentioned in a recent thread about fabrics but they don't seem to sell patterned tulle.

I'm looking for something pretty to put over the windows as a wasp deterrent. I've had a black mesh before but want something a bit nicer as I'll be looking at it all summer!

Ideally I'd like a daisy-patterned tulle for our bedroom and something with small coloured flowers for the living room. We have a lot of windows so I don't want something overpowering. I don't want net curtains. I know so little about fabrics I'm not even sure if tulle is the right thing to be searching for (just want a very fine mesh, white background, small flowers). It doesn't need to be ready made/cut as I can cut it myself and then will stick it to the edges of the windows with velcro.

Can anybody tell me if I'm looking in the right place/for the right thing or if there are better places to look please? Off to try Pinterest now...

Have you tried Peter Jones in London - they had a huge haberdashery dept with lots of this kind of thing, I'm not sure if they still do as I've been out of the country but you could phone them?

Have you looked at voile curtains and panels? They are a bit more modern and pretty than net curtains. Some are more mesh-like than others.

Thank you. Unfortunately we live in the North so London isn't an option. Peter Jones have (upon googling) been taken over by John Lewis and we have one of those locally so I'll have a look next time I'm in - they have good haberdashery depts.

I found some plain mesh on the market for the bathroom and kitchen. I will google for voile, thank you :) I am ideally looking for small coloured (embroidered or otherwise) flowers which I think makes it near impossible!

I had a wee look on Abakhan, which has loads of net, but nothing quite like you want, still I've linked so you can have a wee nosy, hth

Thank you :) I have found some potential options on Dunelm Mill but I'd have to cut them up from ready made curtains. Abakhan will help as some of the fabrics look good for my friend's wedding that I'm helping with in September, so useful for a different purpose.
