Hi all :)

I would really like to buy a children's toy box for my niece but am a bit overwhelmed by the choice on the internet Shock Have you any tips for what I should and shouldn't do. I'm thinking of having one made my a carpenter. Would he do the design as well as I am so very not artistic. How do I choose a design? I would really like for her to be able to keep this for a long time so want it to be good quality but also need (as we all do) to find this at a reasonable price.

Any advice on how to go about this, who to choose, etc much appreciated

Thanks Thanks

If your not particularly artistic, what about a basic wooden lidded box, bought or made & then decorate with Decoupage - collect pictures that are personal to DD, favourite characters, toys, things etc, maybe scan in old family photos - if you want a particular colour scheme, then use this site to colour/manipulate your photos & then apply to cover up all ofyour trunk with something like a water proof Modge Podge
