For those that use Pinterest, I saw this link today that I thought could be of interest to cautious people. I've only just got round to asking for an invitation and now that's put me right off Hmm

Ooh, scary...

KatyCustard · 17/03/2012 09:23

That is really not good! I think I will abandon pinterest for a while, (it's not that great anyway)

DonkeyTeapot · 17/03/2012 17:36

Oh, that is disappointing. I found it a useful way to bookmark things I want to make at some point. Thanks for letting us know.

DillyTante · 17/03/2012 18:29

Gosh that is scary.

trulymyrtle · 17/03/2012 19:49

I've pinned the red poster. Tricky...

DonkeyTeapot · 17/03/2012 19:57

So, I suppose if you click the like button on things, you can then go and look at your "likes" so you can still bookmark things that other people have pinned, but couldn't pin any new content or you'd be responsible for it.

That's a shame...I hit the delete account button I'm afraid

HidingInTheUndergrowth · 18/03/2012 13:40

Well, I would be interested to see how these compare with the T&Cs of something like facebook, twitter, youtube, etc, which I suspect are actually pretty similar.

I am not really convinced they require a mass panic especially since there is a follow up post where they have contacted pinterest to get some clarification on the T&C. So I will be waiting to see what the response is from them before I delete my account.
