Children's 1920s dress pattern (short)

OK. Dance teacher has suggested a '1920s flapper look dress, perhaps with beading on a short skirt' as a costume for DD's latest solo.

Dance school wardrobe is short on such items for a tall 9 year old..

Any suggestions as to where I might find a pattern from? I am capable, though out of practice, at basic dressmaking but pattern creation is a step too far....

Pillow case with slits cut for head and arms and fringing around the bottom might be right length.

Madrush, I wish! Sadly, this is for a 'dance on stage solo and get judged' type of occasion so it needs to pass muster in front of 100 competitive ballet mums...

NK, that looks pretty good as a starting point - I like some of the 'fancier' fabrics in the flikr group. Any other ideas out there?
