I've had some fun this afternoon trying this out!

I bought a football shirt block and have made football shirts following this design.

You can make shirts with this instructions using any patterned papers you might have. You need to trim the paper to 7.5cm x 15cm!

More shopping eh, Soapy?

Last weeks craft fair soupie!

£5 for 5 books - 65 pages in each one! Bargain!

The football ones are particularly impressive. Great for boys cards!

There is another tutorial on that site for a ladies skirt and blouse which could be quite nice if you used contemporary type prints to make them.

Amazing what you can find on the net isn;t it!!!!

You can use some of that costco paper...

soapbox · 29/01/2006 17:46

Needs to be a small print - although plain might work! I bet the stripy ones might work though!

Do you think the stripy pinky greeny one for a blouse, with the plain deep pink for a skirt would work?

Well after the success of my 'Exploding' card - the skys the limit as far as paper folding goes !!!

Dingle · 29/01/2006 17:56

This has reminded me of one of the get well cards I made ages ago. It was a pair of little cerise pink PJs folded from pink shiny paper. From what I remembe rthe PJs weren't too bad, but I had handwritten the wording down the edge of the card and it looked awful!

I like the look of the football block, what teams are in there soapbox?

codnotmud · 29/01/2006 17:57

SOAPY grrr

codnotmud · 29/01/2006 17:57

soapbox · 29/01/2006 18:18

Oh Cod, you are such a sour puss at times!

Go on, you keep lurking on these craft threads - you know you want to join it! Just go for it!

Get a piece of white paper and make a shirt, I think even you might be surprised at how rewarding your efforts will be

Dingle I am no expert on teams but it looks like arsenal, man united, newcastle, chelsea and two that I don't recognise!!

One is white with bits of blue and red roung the sleeve and neck line. The other is another red one!

All of them say, I love football on them, where the team logos would go. I usually put a number brad on the middle of them, which is for the age of the person getting the card!

YG - of course I'll let you have one!

Why don't I send it to you in with the cheque for the do-crafts goodie bag?

Let me know how much and I'll pop it in the post for you on Monday!
