will it be hard to make a cushion for my window seat?

Do I just buy a bit of foam and cut it??

or make a long cushion and stuff it??

I covered the top of an ottoman once and used board & foam. I think the trick is to pull the material round and pin in place at 12 3 6 & 9 o'clock so it's even, then concentrate on stapling the rest. HTH

Sorry I was imagining one of them lift up window seats. If it's just like a shelf then a cushion would be easier.

In our old house we made a paper template (bay window seat) and got the foam cut to size. I seem to remember that foam (of a decent thickness)is loads more expensive than I thought it would be. We then got MIL to cover it as shes handy with a needle.

I will have a go if you want Enid. Just pay for materials. It will do me good to get my Sewing Machine out. I don't do zips though.
