rolls of tulle

Does anyone know where I can get cheap rolls of tulle from? I've looked on eBay but they all seem to come from the States - ideally I'd like to have a look so I can see the colours in the flesh so highstreet would be ideal.

I'm going to be making tutus if anyone's interested!

www.fabricland.co.uk/
they have sent me samples of fabrics in the past so I could check for colour/weight

they sell 50mt boards of tulle suitable for tutus for £50 or you can buy meterage at about 82p!

I asked on a 'net curtain' stall at a market (he did sell basic curtain fabrics)
He was able to offer a full colour range as a special order.

I bought tulle for my daughters tutu from fabricland too...they sent me samples first. I have my own sewing business and use fabricland all the time, they're great.

The rolls you are meaning I assume are the 6" (or 4") rolls to make it easier to cut, yes? I just ordered the tulle by the metre and then cut it across the width. Think we did about 5" strips, off the top of my head.

Have fun, you will lose the will to live cutting out enough to make an enormous tutu.......guaranteed

Not wrong there Eddie.............I had to make 12- Never again!!
