What is Age 12-18months in inches?

I have found a whole bag full of 1960's baby knitting patterns bu they are all in inches, not 'months'.

What would age 12-18months be?

I think it varies so much, try comparing it to a modern pattern, the measurements are usually given in inches as well. Pattern to hand only goes up to 12 months which is a matinee jacket and it's 20 1/4 inches across the chest.

DD is 14 months and is small so still knitting 3-6/6-9 months for her.
