.....so excited. A friend is having a baby in April and I will definitely buy the organic fabric for the quilt there

Thought I would share

Ooh, thanks for sharing - looks lovely and reasonably priced too!

Oooo Love the spotty bias binding, and the buttons and beads, oh and the spotty bag handles and the pom pom edging.. Thanks Smile - have bookmarked!

lifeistooshort · 06/02/2012 21:49

The price does sound reasonable doesn't it especially for the organic fabrics although I haven't check how much fabric you get for it. I do feel a new addiction starting though!

You could spend an absolute fortune there! Have you seen the dinosaur pattern? - soooooo sweet here

lifeistooshort · 06/02/2012 21:52

I know, I love all of them but I am trying to be good and to see if my friend has a boy or girl. The kids fabrics are lovely and not too common/naff. I found it by accident and think this site will be my best friend (and DH's biggest nightmare)

Love fabric shops!

I just found www.emmasfabricstudio.co.uk/ - they have lovely co-ordinated bundles. I always struggle to put fabrics together myself so this is a godsend! Not arrived yet though so can't comment on delivery times

lifeistooshort · 06/02/2012 22:14

oooooh lovely link wifeofdoom absolutely love the fabric bundles soooo lovely. I need to stop looking otherwise will end up very skint indeed so much fabric, so much choice....

Great link *wifeofdoom& and yyy to the fabric bundles - how many fabric bundles do you think I can sneak into the house without DH noticing? :o :o :o

dizzyday07 · 07/02/2012 00:54

The prices (@£4) for the organic fabric is for 1/4 metre!

The bundles in that section are good value though as you get 5 x 1/2 metres (so in effect 10 x 1/4) for £25

Thought so....fat (wallet) quarters...but lovely

LadyWord · 11/02/2012 21:25

Ooooh LITS thanks... Love it! I've just spent £17 (quite restrained I thought!) on fat quarters - including the dan stiles marine life fabric that I had been looking for everywhere. V happy.

lifeistooshort · 11/02/2012 22:23

Very glad you like it. I am trying to restrain myself a bit (made an order from cotton patch last week). Not sure how long my resolve will last though! Hope you enjoy your fabric. What are you gooing to make with it?

Eeerrrrmm... Blush it's going in my stash for now (after I've fondled it lovingly for a while) - but should eventually end up in a quilt, or something for dd. Fat quarters are also great for making dolls' clothes and bedding. But it's so hard to get the time with 2 small dc - the things I have plans for outnumber my actual making time by about 1000 to 1.

Flubba · 12/02/2012 11:42

Haha! I know the feeling. Luckily I have a fabricland near me, so I can go and indulge my fabric addiction quite cheaply (they do four fat quarters for about £3.50). Also not quite sure what I'll be making with them, but bunting is always popular! :)

trulymyrtle · 13/02/2012 22:08

Thanks for the link Flubba - Cambridge is a fabric desert and this offers me hope!
