I have just been looking for some ideas for 18 year old boys birthday card. So off I went ploughing through cards on do-crafts. I CAN'T believe how wicked some of them are to the other cardmakers. Comments like:-
'I think its tacky, not worth making' Jean from Dundee
'looks like a load of stamps and shouldn't be classed as intermediate' Mavis from nowhereland.

Whats worse is beside the card pics of dear old girls who made em.

I had heard that they were a wicked old bunch on there but that people can be so nasty about a card FFS.

Scuse me for bringing you lot this, but you have to look it's hilarious. Reminds me of old boys sabotaging prizes for the biggest onion at the Vegetable of the year show.

Anyway back to my reason for posting, I need help. I have to do a card for 18 year old baseball capped, trendy twins and I am absolutely & utterly stumped. Don't want to do football.

I am wickedly tempted to stick a square on a piece of white card, put the Happy Birthday on wonky and post it . Just for the crack and to get mavis all excited.

how about a sports car themed card for the twins?

I reckon we should all submit cards and show them just what a wonderful talented bunch we are....some of them on there are evil old bags and their cards stink BUT they think they are fantastic!!!

I sent my card to a card swap on that site. I was a fixture there, on their whoa re we photo board and all- I just got SO sick of the in fighting I gave up and haven't been back since. My card was a cream gatefoled with a silver tree ashape and metallic spirelli, on navy card with a very dark red stripe, The comment? Are you blind- those colours are awful together. ????

Actually, I do have limited vision but the colours were fine. I'm not confident of my cards, but that one I was.
