Hi this is my first post and I hope someone can help.

I would like to buy some wooden letters from ebay and decorate them, has anyone done this and if so what do you decorate them with and what sort of glue do you use?

Many thanks in advance.

Pva glue
Decorate with whatever you like. Sequins, glitter, decoupage.
The world is your oyster.

I have a special craft glue...really good & dries clear. Bought from a craft shop...not as thick as pva glue but very good on all materials Smile

I've done this. I used PVA glue to glue fabric onto the letters. They look great and have lasted for year.

Wooden letters? wouldn't you be better off making them in your font with paper machie instead?

But PVA wouldn't go great with paper at all. You'll need decopatch glue/varnish. like this:
