What would be an appropriate thank you gift?

My friend's mum crocheted two beautiful blankets to give to my children for Christmas. I am so touched that I would like to buy her a gift to thank her for her time and thoughtfulness. What would be appropriate in these circumstances? Would sending a bunch of flowers be OTT? Would just a card be an insult? Any advice welcomed. Thank you.

I think a card is enough....maybe with a pic of the DC with their blankets then at Easter, send her a nice Eastery plant or chocolate gift.

I think a really nice handwritten card is enough, and sending a photo is a lovely idea too.

Oh, i'd go for the flowers but you could do a nice handtied bunch of 'informal' flowers rather than a bouquet? Or some cyclamen - love cyclamen.
