Bookatrix?

I saw a gorgeous card on the canny crafts gallery made with a bookatrix. never heard of it before. I searched and got a site selling it but couldn't grasp much from that. Has anyone used one, is it very difficult and are the cards as effective as this one? I really love books so I am drawn to the idea immensly.

here is a relatively plain (tho still nice in case you made it!) example I found

got one and i love it.

it is an embossing board with book markings on, you use a ball tool to emboss paper/card and then cut out.

i made some lovely cards for weddings last year for my mum to give.

have you got sky/ntl create and craft have great demo'ss for this

oh and it has shapes at the back too

I don't have Sky unfortunately.

Considering for myself for Mothers Day

if you do get one, try to get from a site that includes the ball tool with it, unless you have one already

it's a 6mm tool.

Nice demo - but didn't like the card at all!

It looked like the card equivalent of the crocheted loo roll holder

lolol, the demo's on C&C are by the ladies who designed the boards and are much nicer results.

Well the demo almost put me off! LOl at the card! But DH has ofered to get it 'in due course' as he thinks it'd be nice for my Calligraphy. Thanks
