Making a Kwazii from the Octonauts hat

DD (4) is Octonauts obsessed and has asked that I try and make a Kwazii hat. I'm thinking about either making one from felt or wool (knitting or crochet) but not sure where I could find a pattern. Anyone got any ideas or has done a successful make?

Thanks

You could make a paper hat

Thanks KatyMac- it's a bit too beanie-ish- thinking more of paper boat shaped. Guess I should be grateful she didn't want the Barnacles one, which looking at the toy looks like a potty!

well, for ds's birthday cake I did flat Octonauts heads from readyroll icing. So I would think you could do it with felt easily enough, and sew it onto a plain hat. Octonauts are dead easy to do.

The 'sailor' hats are canvas I think

oh sorry I misunderstood, didn't realise you wanted one that actually looked like K's as opposed to just a K themed one.

the scale is wrong

Looking at the instructions for an origami paper hat you could just knit a rectangle of knitting and origami that... then sew it in place to stop it flopping apart...

KatyMac- the burlesque one is probably the closest and the brim looks the right shape. Thanks for that and I think I'll use that as a base.
