Would anyone like some 100% baby alpaca, highest-quality felt?

I accidentally washed my beautiful, beautiful cream-coloured alpaca scarf and it has felted past the point of no return (or at least beyond my skill).

This is ethically-sourced wool, first shearing from the highest-quality animals (ie baby alpaca) and I know its provenance intimately (DF breeds alpacas Wink). The scarf was 4ft long (now about 3 ft), horribly expensive and I actually cried when I realised I'd washed it.

I can't bear chucking it out, but I know I will never get round to using it for anything, so can anyone else?

Or perhaps there are some expert de-felters out that might relish the challenge of turning it back into a scarf - you wouldn't regret it.

Couldn't you make a Cushion with it Snow? It,s very easy....
If not I'd love it Smile

Thanks for your suggestion Ingles2, I had another look at making a cushion and sat there and thought about it and how lovely it would be, and realised... no, it's definitely not going to happen - WAHM, about to have another baby, I'm dreaming! PM me your address.
