its been in the oven 10 mins at 180 degrees c. just put it in for another 5 min. the things dd made with it are so delicate am worried theyll burn. should they be hard to the touch? or do they harden once cool?

110 degrees for 30 mins...

I'm pretty sure I used to 'cook' it longer than that, about 25 mins? Think it was at a lower temp aswell but it's a long time since I did any FIMO modelling.

Sorry, not helping v much am I Xmas Hmm

IMHO you may have made them dry from the outside in, rather than the inside out which a lower temperature would do. They my harden when cool though.

DDs in the middle of baking some now, but I have no other experience, sorry. Hope they work out.

Yes, I think so, but not porcelain hard iykwim. Harder than when it goes in, that's for sure!

yeah 110 for 30 mins

noonar · 22/12/2011 16:30

well, i just went to pop them back in the oven and they had gone hard. maybe not as rock hard as they should be but they are so thin i think i'll quit while we're ahead. thanks!
