Do sewing machines go on sale after Christmas?

I need to buy a new machine and am wondering if I should wait it out until after Christmas for any possible sales or if there isn't much difference and I should go out and get something this week and whip up a few things for Christmas (well, I like to think that might happen).

Does anyone know if they go on sale significantly post-Christmas?

Bumping this up for daytime.

I don't see why they wouldn't be in the sales but there are so many pre Christmas offers around now that it might not be any cheaper to wait.

I'd say if you've seen one you like and it's on offer now buy it. Don't open the packaging until you've checked that it hasn't gone down further in the January sales - they start Boxing Day anyway. Otherwise just wait and see what you find after Christmas.
