I've been dithering for ages over what dies to buy next...last night I finally bite the bullet and ordered them. I am so so excited, can't wait to play.

Have such a rotten week ahead, lots of rushing back and forth from nursery to hospital appointments and back to school to collect DS. I seem to have so much on my mind, mostly this statementing for Amelia, that I just couldn't sleep last night. Feeling run down before the week has really even started for us!

To top it all my car wouldn't start this morning, despite having a new battery just before xmas. So Amelia never got to Special Needs Nursery this morning!

Mr Postie delivered some lovely papers this morning,,, shame I won't have time to play!

I just ordered the drinks set, a heart and a gingernbread man. I collect my new sissix tomorrow

I can see so many uses for the drinks one, it seemed like a sensible choice. Or is that just my family?

Peachy the drinks set sounds good. If the heart is a small one you can also make flowers (like roses) ot of it too.

Well...I got the primative hearts, the trad bookplates, sculpting tulip and lilac (really wanted the pansy too but that was out of stock), the rivet frames, square combo frames, tiny card & envelope...and the super scallop tag!

oh yes....and the Girls are weird alphabet!

Was supposed to get GAW as part of my xams pressie, but never got around to it. Told hubby, that if I ordered a lot now, while they were reduced...he could give some to me for Valentine's Day. He said, "can you wait until then !" He knows me so well.

They sound a good selection. I have been eyeing the tiny card and envelope up but can not buy any new dies for months now! My doodle block alphabet arrived on Saturday so I have been playing with that.

I think I will be hving ome dies for Valentines too, DH is driving me over to canny Crafts tomorrow so I can send over with a ist nearer the time.

Once I get the drinks through, am happy to do some for people of course. Planning to use them on Mothers Day, birthdays, summer, congratulations... The gingerbread man will do kids acrds and babycards too, I like Kraft kards so should work well.

Feel like I have entered a whole new crafting level now I've oredered the sissix! Determined to do a lot more this year, almost had given up last year (confidence badly knocked by someone) but it's relaxing and that's good.

Thanks. Normally if someone laughed at a card I'd made I'd have shrugged it off, but they chose a card that I felt was one of my best and it stung. Worst thing was their card was- um- plain, and I'd spent ages trying to find really positive things to say about it- it was a craft swap.

Anyway, in the past now.

Went to Canny today. REALLY nice place! About 10 minutes drive from here, lots of stock all nicely displayed and own parking too. james, the assistant, seemed nice and and even knew my name (I'd reserved some low stock for collection) without having to check paperwork! How good is that? Deffo recommend.

In the end I bought a Sidekick (decided all I needed), some nice papers, bazzill card, bodice template, brads that look like the lacing hooks on corsets (to use mainly with the bodices), eyelets, a stamp of Mardi Gras faces (for cards for DH's carnival mates), a small red dragon stamp, bronze and red inks, and some small crosses for sympathy cards.

I've got the drinks sissix dies ordered, alsoone of those £10 pizza boxes due to arrive any day, some paper doves from ebay, 50 square cards for £2.50 I got on Ebay (£2.50 P&P but still good, and I do like square cards), £21 worth of embellishments and paper from cardmakingcrafts, some Welsh Happy Birthday peel offs for kids cards, and a few metres of silk cord for the ;acing (from hobbycraft)...

I did buy DH a rather nice leather trench coat in Asda, I felt guilty! Good job my student loan was in yesterday.

it is horrid when your work gets slated esp as you put alot of your self into your creations. But as you said all in past now and you are on the up.
