She wants a party dress & has been nagging for a pencil skirt (a dogstooth check maybe?)

Dress wise I have the material for:

an A line shift in lime green or purple satin
a knee length full circle (50's ) V neck in cerise/black shot silk (very 80's)
some rust linen (that I wanted for me) which I could do anything with
burgundy cotton
a pastel dolly mixture (lilacs) cotton
black with green leaves cotton which might work with the lime green satin

I also have some purple sparkling lycra so she could have leotard/body with full circle satin skirt

So what should I do?

We have decided on:
Lime green A-line dress with an black/green appliqué leaf on the breast with a black green band at the hem (how do you size up an age 10 pattern to an age 14 one?)

Some scratchy black & silver which is 'just' long enough for a tunic

dogstooth check as a wrap around skirt (no zip - yipee)

Purple satin dress (like a pinafore top with a gently gathered skirt)

& I'm having the rust as a (possibly princessline) longish smartish dress
the lilac dolly mixture as a sundress
the black/green as a sun dress too

Now the sensible amongst you might say they will never be done by Christmas & you know what - you're right!
