Jewelley making anyone?

Hi, I'm really interested in starting to make some jewellery - bead work to begin with.
Has anybody got any tips for a beginner - any good books to look at or websites. What about good places to buy things - I've had a look at ebay and seems to be all sorts of things on there.
Any tips would be a great help. Thanks.

I am sure whizz would endorse ebay for you and probably recommend Hobbycraft too! I picked up a 'how to' thingy for jewelley making when I was there. It has loads of advice.

You may have a nice list of my favourites in there too!

Thanks very much to you both. They all look great. Can't wait to get started now.

Yes Hobbycraft is a good place to start as you can see better just what you are buying. Once you have a better idea of types of beads you like / use - then EBay is as good a place as any - just watch the sizes & quantity you are bidding for.
