Getting products manufactured in order to sell!

I'm thinking about starting up my own wee company. Very early days but just looking into more fully and would be grateful for some advice.

I have a few 'deigns' which will need to be made up. Naturally I can make them myself but long term I will need a few people which sewing machine to make it work.

How does one go about 'finding' such a thing??

I would have thought that would count as subcontracting, so I would do something like google 'subcontractors sewing'.

I can recommend Business Link - mostly online these days unfortunately but useful support for dh's business startup in the past. The single best thing he did was go to a free workshop from the Inland Revenue about what he could claim against tax.

Sewing contractors / sub contractors has hit a bit of a dead end...will keep at it later with a glass of thanks Joan for the suggestion!
