They are so cute!

Very easy - chain 52, insert hook in 2nd chain from hook and 3 DC into each loop of the chain until you get to the end. It will curl into a spiral. Make one red, one white, twist them together and then twist a pipe cleaner into the middle. Finish off ends and bend.

I will go and find where I got the pattern from in a second.

Brilliant! Thanks for sharing. Much more elegant han ones I made as a child (two pipecleaners, one red, one White, wrapped together).

:-)

Oohh! Lovely.

Thanks for sharing - another idea for the Christmas tree and look very quick to make up!

Having spent time sewing the ends in, I think you need to leave long til either at the beginning or the end and wen you twist the two spirals together, aim to have a tail at either end.

You can also make them in green and shape them into wreaths.

Ooh fab and easy too!

DillyTante · 02/12/2011 22:40

Can you link to the wreaths?

SoupDragon · 03/12/2011 08:54

The principle was the same... use green yarn, make two the same, twist together, shove a pipe cleaner in the middle and bend to a wreath. I guess you have to sew the ends together. Hang on, I think I pinned it... Here
