Cheapest I found for the machine although there is a site that sells the dies cheaper than anywhere else. He's got 30% off this month as well pecca- cat (or pm on mo) me and i'll send you the link. Before you buy the sizzix though have a look at the big shot. have a chat with some of the others about it as well. i haven't got one and it's not quite out in the uk yet but it'd be a shame for you to buy the sizzix and regret it in a week

The bigshot is £75 on THAT site's January sale isnt it?

Comparing it to the Sizzix at the cheap price not sure I could justify the expense. Im just starting out you see

whats the difference between the big shot and the sizzix machine?

I'm no expert but the Big Shot allows to you cut bigger shapes and cut actual cards - ie appertures in cards. The dies look fantastic and more complicated than normal Sizzix designs.
I think you can also cut & fold your own card shapes too.

I've been umming and haaing about theBig Shot- was going to sell the sizzix and all sorts but i decided against it. Spent £50 on new dies instead well, 30% off is a lot.
I've been looking att he dies for the big shot and they're more expensive as well- in a real quandry lol
