Ali Baba Trousers

I've to supply an Indian Prince/Aladdin costume for my 6 year old to wear in his Christmas production.

I've scoured the sewing pattern companies for a pattern for Ali Baba trousers. No luck. I've looked for free patterns but haven't come up with much.

Does anyone have any ideas how to make them? Surely they are not too difficult?

Oh now I cobbled a par together last year for my DD when she wanted to be that princess out of Aladin. Mine turned out very well....I used this fabri tat was VERY thin and covered in sequins but you wont want that for DS....but the thinner the fabric the better the drape.

I used this blog which has free instructions.

Thank you, I think I should be able to follow that. I've bought a remnant of satin so I should get the required drape.
