curtains are easy... nice straight lines. Pin and tack before final sewing though.

yeah it is easy. well, i did some and I am no sewer!

the hardest thing is making sure you make both curtains the same length. I found with mine that as they'd been hanging for a while one of them had kind of stretched out of shape a little. but if you measure really carefully and pin them even more carefully you should be fine.

don't sew the lining to the curtain though... remember to leave that separate (if there is a lining)

oh and don't make your seam too close to the bottom. I made that mistake and because the fabric is quite thick it means they hang a little bit funny at the bottom which I think wouldn't have happened if i'd turned it up a bit further

My mum gave me a tip - don't try from the bottom, take the tape off the top and move it to the height you want - that way you don't have to get a straight line on the hem or re hem. Does work!

thank you

my mil came to visit the other week and did one pair for us, but she made it look soooo easy

they are lined but the material isn't thick

that's a good point about doing it from the top if you have tape.

mine were tab top curtains so i had to do from the bottom

these ones have the holes at the top so am going to have to start at the bottom
