Myself and miss rollover have decided to start scrapbooking.....

I have a bit of a head start and have done a few layouts with a few more in the pipeline and she is just starting out.

We have a fab store near us (dangerous)

So talk to us, give us tips (I learned a brilliant lettering tips today) etc!

Thanks!

Come on then - share your lettering tip

I'm just about to start too and any tips would be handy!

OOH
IT IS ABOTU DOING YOUR OWN LETTERING...PEOPLE PROBABLY DO THIS ALREADY...
use microsoft word to do lettering. type it out then choose format font and choose outline.
then in file, print properties, choose mirror image
then print it on plain paper then stick it to your fancy paper and cut lettering out

OH NO!!! I was planning to start scrap booking and feel very ashamed! I obviously do not have the artistic talents or imagination!

My plan A was to purchase a Scrap Book from stamps.co.uk stick every thing in in date order and maybe write a location, country, name

can i do it like that then its all simple!

Can i write on the pages of these scrap books? and use Pri stick?
I have a mountain of stuff to get through but feel i am on a bit of a mission, probably take me all year!

notasheep -- you make it how you want just make sure you use stuff that is acid and lignin free. also it's a good idea to use archival pens.

pecca, i have just remembered the body shop, i was so pg when i contacted you i couldn't give it a proper go. i will be getting back to it in the new year tho.

posycal - welcome to scrapping i can talk for britain and jamaica, and new zealand and..... you gt the idea!!

Well, (adding her tuppence) I am thinking that it is about making up an ideas page for something.

ie carrots

lots of green/orange background paper some brown for earth, raised orange stuff and green leafy explosions.

I am using carrots as an example as I have never done this before. Is this along the idea of it?
