Anyone knit using the continental style?

I was looking online to teach myself a faster way to knit and came across this and so I have just taught myself it, I think it is faster as you have less moving of the thread but just wondering if anyone else out there successfully uses it?

I don't use it, but will watch with interest as I've often been told it is faster

I do when I do Fair Isle colour knitting: one thread in the right hand and the other in the left.
If I am just knitting with one thread I have the thread in the right hand and find that quicker than having it in the left.

I knit continentally and yes, I think it's considerably faster :)

DutchOma think you sound a little too advanced for me - two threads!! Grin

Popcorn good to hear you like it, think I will keep practising as its a bit fiddlier but I can see it working faster when I get the knack.

Wholly give it a go and see if you like it!
