Very cream room what colour would warm it up?

My new lounge is cream, very, very cream.
I have camel/ biscuit coloured carpet.
I'm making cushions for the sofas to try and warm it up what colour should I choose?
We live in a cottage and our style is cottagey, rustic.
I'm thinking maybe a brick red? Maybe velvet? Or fluffy?
What other colours?

Red works well, with lots of different textures.

Ooh definitely velvet!

Agree red is lovely but how about a deep purple or midnight blue?

Definitely velvet! Deep
Purple upstairs and there is far too much blue in this house already!
Red it is I think. Perhaps with hints of gold accessories

In a creamily cream room I think you could get away with combining a few really strong colours, especially if they're velvet as they would seem so luxurious. Agree with red, midnight blue, perhaps also a zingy pea green? And silver/grey, gold??
