Best craft wire for a heart shaped wreath?

I want to make a heart shaped wreath, but I've never done anything like this before! What craft wire is best to use? Many thanks.

What about using a wire coat hanger? Are you putting twigs or something around it ot covering it with fabric?

Not sure yet! Did look at coat hanger option, but not sure I want a hook at the top. I'm just wondering what thickness of wire craft places sell, so that whatever I make is sturdy but malleable without too much force- if you see what I mean!

You would just bend the hook out of it?

i would think possibly 1.5mm wire would be ok

is that for a beady wreath or a leafy wreath (try saying that in Leith, with the police...)?
