Have a 40th birthday party coming up. Venue is the town football clubhouse, so pretty cheap and cheerful. Most of my budget is going on band and food, so don't have much to jazz the place up.
Looking for ideas for smallish table centerpieces to make the place look less institutional. Not allowed candles (at least not lit ones!). So far I have come up with nice roundish bowls, maybe like this with a colourful flower in (probably a fake one!)
Anyone got some inspirational ideas?
