A box that can decorate and turn into ds's memory box. I bought one, decorated and personalised from eBay when I had dd, however fancy making my own this time.

May be stating the obvious here so apologies if I am, but have you tried Hobbycraft, they stock so much crafty stuff, I'd be surprised if they didn't have something. Also The Range have a big craft section and Ebay would probably sell plain boxes that you can decorate yourself.
