quick craft for 12 8 year old girls!

My DD is having her birthday party in 2 weeks and while most of the time is accounted for there will be short time near the start in which they could do a quick and simple craft. It also has to be cheap! Any ideas?

Paper bag that they could decorate to take any goodies home.

My DD had her party soon (similar numbers). I did a decopatch activity. Bought a few trinklet boxes to decorate from hobby craft, a bottle of PVA glue, a pack of glue paintbrush, a few sheets of decopatch and some tissue paper and a few stick on stones etc... to make a tresure/jewelery box.

Really easy, not too expensive and they loved it
